After all the Upsets, Heartbreaks, and Blowouts, The final four teams have been set.
Loyola-Chicago, Kansas, Michigan, and Villanova will duke it out for that coveted championship trophy. There are favorites right off the bat as Loyola have been the story of the tournament. The 11 seed has went on to upset 4 teams and hope to continue that streak against Michigan.
When it comes to complete talent, both Villanova and Kansas are favorites as they are some of the best recruiters in the nation. Many believe Nova will take the win, but Nova will be on high alert as Kansas is riding on the hot hand of Malik Newman who scored 31 points in the last game against Duke and had all of Kansas’ 14 overtime points.
Michigan and Loyola can’t be counted out yet, as they are displaying some of the best team ball seen in tournament history. Michigan’s Jordan Poole is really making the most of his tournament, as the freshman is stepping up big time for the senior littered team. This strong Michigan side can be easily challenged by Loyola’s strategic defense, and great ball rotation.
The games will be played this coming Saturday, and the finals will be set based on the winners of these games.
