By Amelia Keller Kraft is offering moms a chance to have a night off. The company that is well known by mothers and children alike for their macaroni and cheese wants to pay babysitting fees for the people with the hardest job in the world.
Kraft has allotted $50,000 to pay for childcare on Sunday, May 12. Each mother is eligible for up to $100. They say it's a chance for, "No meltdowns, no diaper changes and no going to the bathroom with kids pounding on the door." Sergio Eleuterio, head of marketing, says they're giving mothers what they actually want: "Some time for themselves." Mothers who are looking to take advantage of Kraft's Mother's Day Away offer can visit their site and upload a photo of their receipt or invoice from the babysitting service. Mothers are asked to also provide a short reasoning of why they needed a night off.
